About Us

TotalFood is a family-run business, launched by me more than a decade ago from a chest freezer in North London.

Today, the company occupies state of the art premises in Rainham, with a 300 tonne on-site cold storage facility and a fleet of temperature-controlled vans. Planning is also well underway for a fish and seafood packaging plant in the Khulna region of my native Bangladesh.

Our success now is the result of many years spent building client relationships, as evidenced by thefact that our very first customer is still with us! ‘Going the extra mile’ is an expression one often hears casually bandied around, but for us it genuinely represents a business philosophy. Need something urgently? We’ll deliver it out of hours. Can’t find it on our website or in our catalogue?

We’ll get hold of it regardless. If you have any concerns at all, talk to us, and we’ll do our utmost to resolve them.

We supply fresh and frozen foods to restaurants in London and across the South East. Our offering includes chicken, duck, lamb, fish and vegetables – but we’re probably best known for the size and quality of our King prawns. Bangladeshi prawns are of course world-renowned for their fuller flavour. Ours are sourced from a tightly controlled supply chain.

Recent years have seen us move beyond our traditional roots to cater for a wider range of ethnictastes and food palettes. After all, good food is good food, regardless of its country of origin. Our chicken and lamb is all Halal prepared, simply because its strict quality and hygiene compliance is in line with manufacturing best practice.

I’m very proud of the staff and suppliers who have helped make TotalFood what it is today, but I’m also aware that we’ll only ever be judged by the quality, price and speed of your most recent order. My promise to all customers is therefore to always treat your business – and you – as if each order is your first.
